It has high-quality wood-framed double-glazed windows, wood stove, compost toilet (but could be connected to sewerage), gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, shower, kitchen sink and space for a washing machine if needed. The yurt's door and windows are made of pine, designed to welcome as much natural sunlight as possible by extending their sizes including a porch.
All wooden parts are hand crafted including wooden carvings of animals on the supporting poles (see photos).
Inner liner-(cotton cover), felt (2cm thick insulation)-100% organic sheep's wool, canvas cover (made of a heavy duty hard pressed poly/cotton canvas), outer layer (light canvas fabric with decorative motifs) and crown cover for the skylight.
