10m x 12m Cocoa Canvas Big Top Marquee Blackout And Flooring - Herefordshire

Description

Bespoke 10 m × 12 m twin-pole canvas marquee, designed and handmade in West Wales by specialist tent makers Smiddereens in 2025.

Originally created for a touring film programme, it has been erected approximately seven times and remains in near-mint condition. The original specialist build cost was over £25,000 + VAT.

Made from cocoa-brown 12oz Regentex canvas, the marquee has a distinctive circus-like silhouette, with two 6.5 m king poles and a sweeping roof.

It was designed as an atmospheric cinema and performance space but is equally suited to weddings, dinners, festivals, hospitality, exhibitions and community events.

A five-part inner wall system creates a darkened/blackout screening space. The removable outer walls can be fully fitted, partially opened or removed to provide different entrances, views and ventilation. Natural coconut-fibre coir flooring is also included.

Documentation

A comprehensive documentation package is included, covering installation, component inventory, specifications, peg and wall plans, wind loading, canvas fire certification, inspection templates, risk assessment and method statements.

Installation And Transport:

With four competent people and suitable conditions, the main structure can be erected in approximately four hours.

The king poles separate for transport, and the marquee packs into a suitably sized large van or box trailer. The canvas and pegs weigh approximately 800–900 kg.

An experienced member of our team can attend the buyer’s first installation to supervise and provide training, subject to location and a separate quotation.

Condition And Sale

Near mint, with approximately seven installations since manufacture in 2025. Inspection of the packed components is welcomed; the marquee will not be erected for viewing.

The sale includes the marquee and equipment listed above. Furniture, trailer, projection, screen, lighting and audio equipment shown in photographs are not included.
