Description

The pods are finished to the highest standard and are fitted with double glazed, lockable windows and doors, 2 internal lights, 1 external light, USB sockets underfloor heating and double socket with hook-up point to your supply. The wood from the manufacture was sourced from sustainable woodlands.

Originally purchased for £12,000 each from Teifi Valley Camping Pods Ltd May 2020 used about 60 times
The pods are in very good condition but can do with cosmo oil on timber and one pod needs a little TLC on the front rim.

Specifications

Timber Structure - Monolithic frames manufactured from stress graded and treated timber.
Outer-Covering - Fixed to the curved frames is proctor breathable felt 50x25mm treated battens fixed to the required spacing to fix the final weatherproof covering of Decra Oberon shingle tiles with ridging to match the tile. This tile carries a 40 year manufacturers guarantee.

Bulk Head Barge Boards - These are manufactured from sawn joinery timber. The timber is sealed on all 4 sides and is shaped and curved prior to fixing. There are 5 members to each side, these are all biscuit jointed on the face joints and screwed and pelleted to the main frame.

Floor - 50x25mm treated battens are fixed to the bottom sides of the floor joist, which are a part of the main frame. Breathable felt is dressed over the floor joist and sits on the top edge of the battens. 9mm OSB sheeting is fixed above the felt and is fixed to the top edge of the counter batten ensuring that the felt is taut prior to fixing. These sheets act as lay boards to hold the insulation in place.

Sub Floor. 18Mm OSB sub-floor. 8Mm laminate flooring laid on top as finished floor.

Insulation - 100mm insulation. The insulation is placed to all external walls, curved walls and floor as standard. Additional insulation can be supplied at an extra cost.

Foil Vapour Control Layer - Reduces seepage and cold bridging. This material is fixed to all surfaces inside the pod including floor prior to fixing the finished boards.

Timber Finishes - All timber walls and ceilings are 19mm Redwood Joinery tongue and groove boarding.

Doors - Veka UPvC – Lockable purpose made door with draught seals. Double glazed with toughened glass.

Windows - Veka UPvC – Lockable, double glazed purpose made windows with draught seals.

Timber decoration & protection - External cladding. – 2 coats Osmo Oil Protector
